Helmut Roehl

August 10, 1933 – February 14, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helmut Roehl at the age of 83 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Beloved husband of the late Hilde (2012). Survived by his daughter Cory (Steve) and his son Eric (Cindy), grandchildren Mitchell, Nicholas, Hailey, Jesse and Trever. A special thank you to the staff of Macassa Lodge for their compassion and care. Helmut enjoyed his retirement years after a quarter century of hard work at Dofasco. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Reception will be held at the Family Centre of the Marlatt Funeral Home “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
