Quietly, after a brief illness on October 5, 2012, in his 93rd year. He is reunited with his devoted wife Edna (April 2012). Loving father of Karen (Ted), Doug (Gail) and Dave (Dianne). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Nikki, Robert, Janet, James, Mark, Jennifer (Jeff) and Peter. Harold served in the Royal Canadian Navy in the Pacific Theatre during W.W.II. He will be remembered for his love of family and extended family, his charitable nature and his many years in Scouting. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, SWACKHAMER CHAPEL, 195 King Street, West, Dundas on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 12:30 P.M., with visitation beginning at 11:30 A.M.
