I used to live next to Anna when she lived on hwy 5 and although it's been almost 7 years since she passed  I'll never forget her laugh, her forthright  nature and her creme puffs. Still thinking of her. Enika Devine.

Anna was my cousin.We enjoyed every time that we were able to visit her and when she visited us.I didn't get to know her until she immigrated to Canada.
I have several tablecloths that she crocheted for me.
It must have been very difficult when she could no longer crochet.
We miss her dearly.

Tante Anni:

My Godmother, known as my aunt, but really a true family friend, who always wanted to know how I was, what I was doing, and instilling confidence in anything I wanted to do. You were a hard worker and lost your late husband much too soon. Working at Tim Horton's didn't defer you from bringing over some of your homemade fancy decorated cakes. They were all a work of art with each having a different funny scene and tasted so scrumptious. 

You always liked to confront conversations with your point of view which made the company crowd filled with laughter. Those times made the household more realistic when times were tedious. You could really make me laugh and put forth self-assurance in the  good life ahead. For that I thank you. To my surprise, you retired your old Volkswagen to me where I spent hours roaming the farm fields practicing my driving skills. I had so much fun with it through all seasons. 

I miss those weekend visits while you stirred pudding on our stove and visiting with my mom Frieda helping her out picking ripe fruits or canning. Your needle work and company with my mom Frieda really made her day as well. I even put you to the test where you helped plant over 600 trees on the farm. 
Yes, we all departed from there but most of the trees are still growing. 

I would like to thank you for holding me in your arms when I was a baby being baptized. You instilled assurance in Christianity from that day forward regardless of being a regular church attendee. 
Although time goes by quickly, I am happy to say you were one person in my life I would not have wanted to miss. So it is hard to say good bye. We will all miss you. I will miss you.
