Vernon K Evans

Vernon Kent Evans of Dallas, TX, born on 5/25/1927 in Vernon, Texas passed away February 13, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Reina Evans. His daughters, Phyllis Taylor, Leah Caliendo, Lisa Acuna Munoz, Tina Arriaga, 10 grandchildren, friends, and many relatives. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Dallas. He was a sergeant in the Army from 1945-1946. He traveled to many places around the world. His visitation day is Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at David Clayton Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Service will be held on February 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Truett Chapel, 1707 San Jacinto St., Dallas,TX, 75201 at First Baptist Dallas, Dr. Forrest Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 Cedar Hill Rd., Duncanville, TX, 75137.
