Sarah Louise Collum was born April 23, 1992 in Arlington TX and passed away September 22, 2019 in Dallas TX as the result of a car accident. Sarah was an artistic young woman who enjoyed creating things including costumes for Comic Cons. When she worked at GameStop, she would celebrate new releases by dressing in costume including makeup to match a character in the new game. She had recently started working as a hostess at a local restaurant and was recognized as a valuable addition to their staff.
She loved music, watching movies with her parents, and playing video games with friends. Pets were a big part of her life: Sarah loved them all, to include a multitude of cats and dogs who brought her much joy, plus Drake the Snake!
Sarah was preceded in death by her father, David, who passed away in a private plane crash in May this year. She is survived by her mother, Kimberly Deeann Collum, her brother Wesley Thomas Taylor (Linda Owen); grandparents Glenda & Chuck Payne in Duncanville and Betty David in Odessa; Uncles Kenneth Payne in Grapevine, Jimmy Collum (Linda Collum), and Bill David (Shira David) both in Odessa; Aunts Susie Collum, Shirley Collum, and Karen David, all in Odessa TX, multiple cousins and many friends. Our hearts are broken to lose this precious young person so early in a life full of promise.
