Patsy Jo Stevens

On October 9th, 2018, at the age of 68, Patsy Jo Stevens lost her long, courageous battle with cancer and crossed over. Pat was born in McKinney, Tx to the late Robert and Faye Pirkle. Heaven has received another angel.

Pat is survived by her husband, Ben Stevens; children, Kelley Trent and Jamie Unger and their husbands David Trent and Kevin Unger; grandchildren, Bethany Trent, Kirsten Cassey, Jud Trent, Paulina Unger, Maddie Unger, Angela Schumacher, Ashley Kestler, and Anthony Hutchison; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Logan Schumacher, and Katelyn Kestler; brothers, Bob Pirkle and wife Cathy, Doyle Pirkle, Phillip Pirkle and wife Lynette, and David Pirkle and wife Tunissia.

Pat was born and raised in Texas but also lived in Arizona for many years. Along with her family, she returned to Texas 2000. She was very proud of her degrees in nursing and had a very accomplished, successful career of 35 years. She enjoyed gardening, her animals, gambling, traveling, and camping. Her greatest love was for her family. Having family together for every holiday and birthday meant the world to her. She loved having bon fires on her property and watching the grandchildren roast marshmallows. She was called by many names…Pat, Patty, Mom, and Honey but the name she loved the most was Nana. Pat is loved by many and loved twice as much in return.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 11a-2p at David Clayton Funeral Home in Duncanville, Tx.
