Michael Dewane Gutowski

Michael D. Gutowski, 66, of Duncanville, TX. Born December 15th, 1952, in Jackson, MI. Within the comfort of his home Mike lived out his final days, on Thursday, May 30, 2019. He passed away peacefully with family at his side for his final moments. Mike was preceded in death by; sister Christine Gutowski, brother in law Timothy Frost, father in law Dean Frost, and parents Charley & Betty (Sierminski) Gutowski. His life was shared with; wife JoAnne (Frost) Gutowski, siblings Stella (husband Bob) Lacinski and Butch Gutowski, sons Michael “Eric” (Amy), Brian (Kristi), and Tim (wife Jenn) Gutowski, stepchildren, Fred (wife Quincy) and Heath (wife Misty) Mac Donald and Danielle Woodard, daughter-in-law Shannon Gutowski, grandchildren Kristi, Nelek, Nicholas, Nasen, Blayne, Brylie, Jade, Kayden, Morgan, and Joy, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mike served our country in the Vietnam War. Family, friends, & neighbors all knew Mike as “Mr. Fix-All” or having the magic touch he selflessly spent many hours helping fix, replace, or redo projects from engine repairs to changing a lightbulb, Mike was always dependable and there for everyone with no hesitation. The bond shared between Mike and those he loved was that to which words can not do justice for, when Mike cared, it was known, no words had to be spoken just a look and you knew you were in his heart. Family was that of the upmost importance to Mike, each year an extravagant 4-day Thanksgiving weekend planned, love, laughter, and memories were shared. As a memorial to Mike’s life his family will continue his tradition. From Mike’s family a very heartfelt thank you to Bristol Hospice for assistance in the final weeks of his life.
