He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 19th, 1936 to his parents Bartolo and Manuela Fraga.
He is preceded in death by both parents, his sisters; Petra Hernandez, Dolores Hernandez and Josephina Fraga, and his brothers; Jesus Fraga and Domingo Fraga.
He is survived by his sisters; Esperanza Paramo, Consuelo Ortega, his brother; Arturo Fraga, son; David Silva and Lois Flores (David’s Mom). Jose also leaves behind two granddaughters and five great grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nephews/nieces and friends.
Jose served in the Army as an infantryman. While in the Army, he was a boxer and was honorably discharged in the early 60s.
After retiring as a drywall and ceiling tile installer, “Pepe”, enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Pegasus Senior Living, where Poker and Bingo were a weekly source of entertainment. He was a favorite brother, uncle and cousin to many of us. His selfless acts were proof that he was a good man. He had given his life to Christ and often you could catch him reading his bible or watching his favorite gospel shows on TV.
Our family is comforted in knowing you are embraced by the Almighty, where illness and pain are no more. Rest, my dear brother, where peace and tranquility reign forever.
