She worked most of her adult life in the Human Resources field holding many upper management and specialist positions with various companies. She accumulated many friends and acquaintances on her journey through life that she loved dearly. Whether you met her 20 years ago or 20 min ago she held a place for you in her heart. Heather was very close to her entire family, always encouraging them to spend more time together. She loved to spend her time in the kitchen cooking. Whether it was for her and Will, a few friends, or the entire family, she was never afraid to try a new recipe and always added the spice! Her son Will, 8, was the most important person in her life. Heather adored Will and always wanted to spend as much time as possible with him. They enjoyed visiting the zoo and Six Flags, and playing at the water parks together. Will’s sweet spirit was something she always bragged about. When she was able to, she loved attending his class parties, going out of her way to bring something special. When Heather was able to attend any of the many sporting events Will was involved in, she was definitely his #1 Fan! Some of Heather’s fondest childhood memories are soaking up the sun on the beach at Corpus Christi during family summer vacations with her parents and sister. As Heather grew older she still always enjoyed a good road trip. Heathers outgoing personality always shined when music was involved. She enjoyed all types of music but country was her favorite. Reba, George, Jason, and Carrie were just a few of her many favorites.
