Born March 28th 1929 in Detroit Michigan to Charles Chris McMillen and Eunice Miller McMillen. He was proceeded in death by his father and mother, and a son Larry. And his wife of 54 years Fredda N. Seal McMillen. And a brother Dale McMillen. He leaves a sister Karen Weaver of North Carolina. Two sons and a daughter, Kevin and his wife Teri their children Phillip, Brandi, Jacque and David. John and his wife Kim and their children Clayton and Hayden. Paula and her husband Jack Titus and their children Merilee, Merideth and Brittany. And a wife of eight years. Betty Sue McMillen. Her children Craig and Mandy Pickerill, Grant and Gavin. Jason and Kristi Pickerill Sarah Christian and Caleb. Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. And many nieces and nephews. Charles was a U.S. Marine and later became a tool and die maker in the aerospace industry. Charles is a member of Duncanville’s First Baptist Church.
Dad died peacefully at Charlton Methodist Medical Center in Dallas with his family by his side.
Chuck and Fredda opened Merrimac Day Care Center in Duncanville in 1972 after the death of their oldest Son Larry. The business thrived where they took care of several generations of kids from the same families. Prior to that they were the owners of Little D Roller Rink.
Family will receive friends and loved ones Thursday February 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at David Clayton and Sons Funeral home in Duncanville. Service will be Friday the 3rd at Duncanville’s First Baptist Church on Wheatland in Duncanville. Interment to follow at Little Bethel in Duncanville.
