Brenda Joyce Pensinger Stewart

Brenda was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to John and Mary Jane Pensinger on October 14, 1939.

Brenda spent 23 years in Mexico, first as a Wycliffe missionary, then establishing and managing a children's

home with her first husband, Al Baker. While there, Brenda and her husband adopted 2 children, a boy and

a girl. Following the death of her husband, Brenda turned the management of the children's home over to

another missionary and returned to the United States with her children, making her residence in Dallas, Texas,

near the Wycliffe home office.

In January 1992, Brenda met Warren Stewart, and they were married the following November.

Brenda is survived by her husband, a son Benito Baker, a daughter Rebekah Turner, and a

half-brother Mike Beckner.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 22nd at 7:00 pm at Wheatland United Methodist Church
