William Hamer

May 25, 1929 – November 3, 2014

On Monday, November 3, 2014 at Cowichan District Hospital Harry passed away to a higher plane.

Harry is survived by his loving family: Wife Carmen, married for 64 years, sons Ray and Randy, daughter Bonnie, eight grandchildren, Aram, Tracy, Ariel, Michele, Craig, Gary, Lindsay, Zoe and seven great grandchildren, Luke, Will, Claire, Eve, Grace, Ty and Marley. Harry is also survived by his brother, George and sisters in law, Jean (Ted) and Jessie (Ken).

Harry was predeceased by his daughter, Susan, at age 3, his brothers, Bob, Ted and Ken, sisters Alice, Emma and Elsie and his father Edmond and mother Mary and son in law, Andrew (Bonnie).

Harry, was a builder, not only of houses but of relationships; he was very social and he loved people. The main loves in his life besides his family and friends was to sing, dance and to make people laugh with his jokes.

Harry will be sadly missed as a husband, a father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Harry on Saturday, November 22 at 11:00am – 2:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Services 375 Brae Rd. Duncan, BC
