Wendy Sue Mayert

After a long and incredibly courageous battle with cancer, Wendy passed away peacefully in her sleep. Her husband and family were with her.

Wendy is survived by her husband Holly, Parents: Renee & Bernie, Henry & Wanda, brothers; Richard, Norm, Ken, sisters; Cathe, Deb, Adriene, Linda, nephews; Cody, Eric, Edward, Gary, nieces: Ashley, Kelsey, Caylee, Christey and many Aunts & Uncles and many many friends, also very importantly, she was supported by the COWICHAN VALLEY DRAGON DIVAS.

An open service will be held at First Memorial’s Funeral Chapel, 375 Brae Road on Thursday October 7 at 12:30 followed by a celebration of life held at her home after the service. In lieu of flowers, please donate generously to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
