Born near Bruno, SK, Peggy moved to Kelowna in 1946 with her family, then to Vancouver in 1949 where she worked for a veterinarian. In 1953 she married Alois “Al” Cetinski in St. Augustin Catholic Church and moved to Duncan. They lived in Caycuse logging camp with their three children, Anna-Marie, Susan and Anthony from 1954-1976 until she and Al returned to make their home in Duncan, where she lived until her death.
Peggy was the youngest of 9 and has one remaining brother, William Kellerman. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, 7 siblings, her beloved daughter Anna, and her husband Al. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Andy) and son Anthony (Nancy); grandchildren Ivy, Joshua, Nathan, Dane and Katie; and 2 great-grandchildren Sophia and Aria.
Mom was an amazing gardener and many people enjoyed walking or driving by her house and commenting on her gardens. She took great pride in taking care of her flower gardens until just 4 days before her passing. Mom had a great voice and loved to sing – you could hear her singing as she went about her days, taking care of her home and family. She was also an enthusiastic yodeler and used to make us laugh when we were small and she would start yodeling. Peggy was devoted to her Catholic faith her entire life and supported many charities.
See you when we get there Mom – say hi to Dad and Anna for us and get the crib board ready. There will be no service by request.
