Patricia J. Howard

Peacefully with family by her side in the Cowichan Valley Regional Hospital February 26, 2014. Pat lived in Esquimalt for 40 years, then moving to Mill Bay 21 years ago. She was extremely healthy and active up to a few weeks ago when she was diagnosed with a very aggressive Cancer. Pat married her best friend,

devoted partner and lover Ron Howard on June 11, 1949. Just shy of 65 fabulous years together. Pat will

be greatly missed by Ron, close son Patrick, his wife Penny, granddaughters Tara and Carlee. She is also survived by her sister Marie, very dear and special friend Allison Lamb and daughter Ashley. She also leaves sons Ron, Harry and their families as well as nieces and nephews plus other brothers and sister-in-laws. Pat and Ron travelled extensively over the years and saw many countries around the world. They both enjoyed playing golf, taking long drives all over Western North America together (From Alaska to Mexico), and just walking Mill Bay Beach in the last few years. More tears than can be counted were spent having great times at Royal Colwood Golf Course with family and friends.

Very special thanks to DR W J Reynolds, Dr Kim Grymaloski, Emergency Room & nursing staff at Cowichan District Hospital who were so caring to all of us during this difficult time. No flowers please. Donations to the Cowichan Valley District Hospital Second Floor Unit in Pat’s name would be appreciated. Pat requested there be no service.
