Timothy Edward Nickila

Timothy was born Feb. 5, 1953 to Edward and Gayle Nickila. He graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1971. He was a three sport athlete and was a proud member of the '69, '70 Wildcat football team that was top rated in the state and "Prep Super Bowl" champs. He was honored to have served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired steel worker.

Timothy was an extremely proud father and grandfather. He was a huge Vikings fan, a great story teller and had a wonderful sense of humor. Timothy was gifted with the ability to talk with anyone and make them feel welcome. He was a big man with a big heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Timothy is survived by his sons, Troy (Shaina) and Adam Konrad; grandchildren, Jordan and Stella; sisters, Nancy (Nick) O’Bradovich, Molly (Mark) Haburt, and Jane (Gary) Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation: 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Service, Monday, March 9, 2015 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home.
