Pauline Jane Taylor

Pauline Taylor, 70, of Duluth and formerly of Hibbing, died November 3 from injuries sustained in a tragic accident. She was born Dec 17, 1942 in Hibbing to Arthur and Helen (Norberg) Taylor, graduated from Hibbing High School in 1961 and attended Hibbing Junior College. She worked a total of 24 years for CenturyLink (Northwestern Bell), and was currently employed by Duluth Schools as a lunchroom aide. She was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth.

Pauline is survived by her son Eric Rian of Harrison NY, daughter Susan (James) Valentine of Duluth, grandchildren Zachery and Katie Rian of NY, Dustin Rian of Duluth, great granddaughter Alaina McCarthy Rian of Duluth, brother Thomas (Linda) Taylor of Hibbing, sisters Helen Taylor of St. Paul, and Elizabeth (Glenn) Jackola of Chisholm, many nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Duluth on Thursday, November 7 at 1 p.m. with visitation two hours prior to the service.
