Mildred R Belich

She was born March 28, 1926 in Chisholm, MN to Marko and Mariya Radocaj.

Millie graduated from Denfeld High School in 1944 and married Nick in 1947. She was a lifelong member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Past President of Serbian Sisters Circle, Past PTA President at Stowe School, Life member of SNF Lodge #75, an interpreter at Seafarers, secretary of several bowling leagues, past officer of VFW Post 6320, and active in the Soap Box Derby. She was also very active doing bake sales and catering for her church and private parties. Her wonderful dishes will be missed!

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nick; 4 brothers, 1 foster brother and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her children; Mark (Cathy Browning), Nick Jr (Kathy), both of Duluth, Rodney (Melanie) of Minnetonka, Steven (Jean) of Superior, Gary of Duluth and Dan (Tamara) of Esko. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law.

The family would like to thank the wonderful St. Lukes Hospice staff, the staff at St. Eligius Health Center, Dr. Wayne Elmer and especially Dr. Patricia M. Mayer for their caring ways to “Millie”.

Visitation 12 noon Thursday October 24, 2013 at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, service to follow at 1pm officiated by Father Kristijan Petrovich. Internment will follow at Oneota Cemetery.
