Mary Lou Jensen

Mary Lou Jensen, 85, of Duluth died Monday, February 18, 2013 at Bay Shore Health Center. She was born in Fayetteville, AR to Fred and Mildred (Comer) Carter. She was married to Harold Jensen in 1951.

Mary Lou worked as a Social Worker for the St. Louis County Social Service Department. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, as past matron of Glen Avon Order of Eastern Star, and a member of Trinity Order of Eastern Star.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Kurt; brother, James; and sisters, Frances, Faye, and Linda.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Janice Jensen of Plymouth, MN; her adopted in heart daughter, Laura Torrigilia of Genoa, Italy; brothers, William of Kansas City, MO and David of Buffalo, MN; sister, Mildred of Mora, MN; and special niece, Carol Peterson of Two Harbors. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 12 noon at Bell Brothers Jarvi Dowd, 925 E 4th St. Visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral chapel. Inurnment at Park Hill Cemetery.
