Lynne Elizabeth Davis

Lynne was born in March of 1940 in Duluth, Minnesota to Amos and Esther Blackwood.

She graduated from Central High School, Duluth, and took some college credits to continue her education. On September 8, 1962 Lynne was united in marriage to Raymond George Davis at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Duluth. Together they lived in Duluth where Lynne was employed with National Foods Grocery Store as a clerk and bookkeeper; she retired from Jolly Fisher as the Chief Cook.

On top of working outside the home, Lynne was great at cooking and baking and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Lynne was preceded in death by her son, Randy; parents; sister, Eileen Schroeder; twin brother, Dale and brother, Clark.

Lynne is survived by her husband; three sons, Richard (Michele) of Duluth, Robert (Erica) of St. Paul, and Bradley of Duluth; four grandsons and one great-granddaughter; one sister, Carol Stork of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Franciscan Health Care Center for the wonderful care of Lynne.

Visitation: 10 am until the 11 am Funeral Service on Monday, December 23, 2013, at Bell Brothers Jarvi Dowd Funeral Home, 925 E. 4th St., Duluth with Ronald D. Stork officiating.
