Lawrence Benjamin Wietman Jr.

Lawrence worked several jobs over the years. He was an employee for the steel plant, City of Duluth, Park State Bank, the Gary Milk House, and was a self-employed excavator. During the winters, Lawrence could be found flooding the Morgan Park Hockey rinks. Lawrence served his country in the United States Navy from 1965-1968 as an engine man on the ships.

Lawrence enjoyed the outdoors going for walks, fishing, and hunting. He was an avid bingo, cribbage, and shuffle board player as well.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.

He will be greatly missed by his brothers, George (Evelyn) of Cloquet, Gary (Gayle) of Esko, and Herbert of Duluth.
