Karen was born in Duluth on September 5, 1940 to Peter and Irene (Dahlberg) Delich. She attended and graduated from Morgan Park High School. After high school she worked for a number of area businesses before marrying Ernest “Bill” Myers. Together they owned several taverns including The Palace and County B. Most recently Karen was the co-owner of the Oliver Bar. Earlier in life, Karen traveled extensively with her husband throughout the United States. She enjoyed spending time at the casino and especially loved her dogs Tammy and Ginger. Karen will be fondly remembered for her good hearted and generous nature.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bill; her parents and brother Robert.
Karen is survived by siblings, George (Val) Delich of Proctor, MN; Barbara (Paul) Habighorst of Esko, MN, Lillian McDade of Oliver, WI and Michael (Shelly) Delich of Nevis, MN as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-6 P.M. on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Oliver Community Center 2125 E State St, Superior, WI. Inurnment will be in Oneota Cemetery.
