Joyce Alma Palmer

Joyce was a Denfeld graduate and after high school she married the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Palmer. Together they raised two children and operated the family business, the Duluth Budgeteer Newspaper.

She was an avid golfer and also enjoyed spending time bowling. Joyce was also on the board of directors for the Pike Lake Auto Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alma.

Joyce will be greatly missed by her husband of 64 years, Dick Palmer of Duluth; son, Rick (Jeanne) Palmer of Eden Prairie; daughter, Cheryl (Todd) McKay of Superior; grandchildren, Amy (Noah) Lauricella of Minnetonka, Kelly Palmer of Phoenix, Terry (Cortney) Palmer of Omaha, NE, and Christina McKay of Superior; three great-grandsons; sister, Dorothea Hart; two nephews; and one niece.
