Elaine A. Flaim

She was born March 11, 1924 in Eveleth, MN to Frank and Floy Raumer

Elaine graduated from Eveleth High School in 1942. She married George Flaim II on March 7, 1943 and they proudly celebrated 58 years of marriage. George & Elaine were the owners of Storey Taxidermy. She also worked at Western Electric, Glass Block, and St. Mary’s Hospital and for a short time for the FBI. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Elaine enjoyed many years of bowling and trap shooting. Her expertice was cooking, especially fried fish!

She was preceded in death by her husband, George II and her son, George III Flaim.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Wayne) Rice, Jennifer (Gary)Pitoscia and Frank (Deborah) Flaim; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00pm until the 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the Jarvi Dowd Funeral Home, 925 E. 4th St., Rev. David Carlson officiating.
