Susan Dolores Keiser

Susan was a graduate of Farrell High School in Farrell, Pennsylvania, in 1954. After high school, Susan attended Youngstown College of Nursing graduating in the Class of 1957. She later also graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After years of practicing nursing, Susan moved into the education field and taught Med/Surg Nursing at the Columbus School of Practical Nursing until retiring in 1997. On April 1, 1998, she received her certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner and continued on in training to become a Healing Touch Certified Instructor on September 16, 2012. Susan helped to start the Healing Touch program at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, teaching nurses the therapeutic techniques of balancing energies that help heal the human body. She and her husband Wayne were founding members of St. Brigid of Kildare Parish in Dublin, Ohio, where she volunteered for Sandwich Saturdays. She was a member of the Association of Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.). Susan had a passion for nursing, A.R.E and Healing Touch. She enjoyed praying the rosary, walking on the beach, and reading. Her favorite vacation spots included Long Beach Island, New Jersey and Marco Island, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Keiser, who she married on September 17, 1960, in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Susan is also preceded in death by her son Bradley Keiser.

Susan will be deeply missed by her children Mike (Libby) Keiser and Susan (Brian) Hyrne; grandchildren Jon Waller, Kendall Keiser, Kassidy Keiser, Bradley S. Keiser III, and Brayden Keiser. She is also survived by her brother Dennis Jones as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 1, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Brigid of Kildare, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017 on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Luncheon to follow after the service on premise if you would like to attend.
