Martha Marie Watson

Martha Marie Watson (Spotts), age 96, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. She was born on December 20, 1925 in Wooster, Ohio to the late Ernest and Lila Spotts. She was a graduate of Drake University with a degree in journalism where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and was recently honored as a 75 year member. She was a member of Powell United Methodist Church.

Marty was married to William D. Watson for 66 years until his passing in 2014. She is survived by her children William (Linda) Watson II, Mark (Megan) Watson and Sarah (Steve) Fader; grandchildren Nicole (Jess) Book, Andrea (Jason) Gable, Ali (Neil) Carl, Doug (Keri) Watson, Katy (Jordan) Adams, Sam Cone. Marty is survived also by her great grandchildren Clara and Noelle Book, Mason and Cooper Gable, Beckett and Weston Carl, Riley Watson, Harper and Maxine Adams. She is also preceded in death by her brother Wallace (Winifred) Spotts.

A visitation will take place on Friday July 22, 2022 from 9am to 10am at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin OH 43017 followed by a 10am service. Inurnment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
