She graduated from Notre Dame Girls High School in Fairfield, Connecticut and following graduation enrolled at the University of Connecticut, graduating with a degree in Interior Design. Lorraine owned her own business, Lorraine Curley Interiors, where she designed many beautiful homes. She was a member of ASID and the Mid-Ohio Region of the Porsche Club of America. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially the planning aspect of the trips. She was a fearless and adventurous cook. Lorraine was able to attempt and master any recipe placed in front of her. She was an avid wine enthusiast and loved to travel to wineries and taste different wines. She was an avid jigsaw puzzle master and enjoyed swapping puzzles with her friends.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Curley, who she met when she was 15. Sisters Pat Mack and Carolyn (Vince Brunelli) Lobo; sister-in-law Eileen Curley and her children Daniel Steele and Kathleen Steele; and her three cats Sophie, Sadie and Phoebe. She is preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Jean and brother-in-law Stan Mack.
A visitation will be held at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor be made to ASPCA.
