Kathryn Schaller, 65, of Massillon, Ohio passed away on March 12, 2023, in Marysville, Ohio after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was taken away from her family way too soon and never had the opportunity to get to know her grandkids, which was one of her many dreams. She would have been the best grandma.
Kathy was born on February 9, 1958, in Orrville, Ohio to the late Wilma and Franklin Harvey. She graduated from Washington High School in 1976. Kathy was a hard worker. After graduation she was employed by RW Screw Products for 35 years. During her time there she held a supervisor position. Every morning her coworker and best friend, Norma, would give her a wakeup call at 5:30 a.m. and they would chat over a cup of coffee even though they were going to see each other at work. When Kathy wasn’t at work, she could be found cleaning her house or taking care of her family.
Some of Kathy’s hobbies included shopping, walking, gardening, and riding a motorcycle with her husband. She was known for her feisty nature when she felt passionate about something and stood up for what she believed in.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Keith Schaller; children Jodi (Robert) Sierer, Julie (Kenneth) Sprow, and Shane (Lora) Goodnight. Kathy will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Camden, Kasen, Landree, Beckham, and Colben. Kathy is survived by her brother Frank Harvey and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 1, 2023, at 2pm at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN; 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Kathryn’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
