Julie Ann Gordon, loving wife, beloved mother, and avid member of many fundraisers and
Charities, died Aug 31, 2022. She was a member of Holy Cross Orthodox Mission, an American
Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese. Born January 6th, 1961 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Hickory High School, and then Ohio Northern University with a degree in Business. At the time of her death, she was the Designer for Artisan Custom Homes in Beaufort, SC. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Designer for many builders surrounding the Columbus area including Romanelli & Hughes, M/I Homes, and Showcase Homes. Following the passing of her husband (William J. Gordon) she created The Tour de Flash, a cycling ride where proceeds were donated to the National Kidney Foundation. Prior to that, she was on the committee of the Race for the Cure for many years, and on the founders committee for the Race for the Cure in Cincinnati, Ohio. Julie was devoted to her family and truly loyal to friends and to the community. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the beach and sunshine. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jeffrey Gordon; and her parents, Robert William Zickar and Kathryn (Walko) Zickar. She is survived by her son, William Ryan Gordon; her daughter Abigail Gordon Slater (Eric); significant other, Michael Moretti. Calling hours will be held at Schoedinger Dublin Funeral Home at 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio on Saturday September 10th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with a funeral at 10:30.
