John “Jack” Frank Kozlowski, 73, passed away on March 12, 2024. He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, to the late Frank and Stella Kozlowski on October 28, 1950. Jack was, first and foremost, a loving husband and father; he will be greatly missed by his family. He served as general counsel for the Ohio Credit Union League for more than 27 years. Jack was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and a member of the President’s Club. He was an ardent Ohio State Buckeyes fan and supporter of all Cleveland sports teams.
Jack’s family would like to thank those who provided the incredible care he received, including Dr. Timothy Rowland, caregivers and special friends, Debbie Mullett, Douglas Coleman, Henry Appiah, and Sal Kabba. They would also like to thank hospice nurse, Debi Blair, Capital City Hospice, and The Ohio State University Cognitive Neurology Department.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his cousins, Charles Kozlowski and Patrice Kozlowski. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, Susan Hayest Kozlowski; son, Joseph F. Kozlowski; siblings, Madeline (John K. Dawson) Kozlowski, Melanie (Hilton Phillips) Koz and their families; his Cleveland family, Anthony Kozlowski, Michael (Susan) Kozlowski, and Christine (Ronald) Linard and their families, as well as sister-in-law, Melissa (Mark) Bean and their daughter Betsy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, where a visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, 7179 Avery Road followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center.
