Jesse was born on August 25, 1994, in Tucson, Arizona to parents Sean Patrick and Joyce Ann Rouse (Gilbert). He was also joyfully welcomed by grandparents, John G. and Myrthal P. Gilbert (dec.) as well as Norma J. Rouse and Walter M. Rouse II. Jesse had two brothers, Jonathan Patrick Rouse (Brittani) and James Michael Rouse. Jesse was also a beloved uncle to Ronin Patrick and Rinn Gabriel Rouse, sons of Jonathan and Brittani.
Jesse was almost always happy, expressing the beauty that he so quickly saw in everyone and in everything. As a young boy, Jesse was already showing his love of nature. He would be fascinated with creatures large and small and was often inclined, to his mother’s chagrin, to bring them home to share with the whole family. He brought joy to every situation and would get the whole family laughing at some funny movie line or joke when things would get stressful. He was full of life and love.
Jesse graduated from Jonathan Alder High School in June, 2013. He was also very active in Boy Scouts, and accomplished the rank of Eagle Scout on November 19, 2012. After High School, Jesse attended Columbus State University. While attending, he wrote a short story, “Lying with Seagulls” which received accolades for its descriptive language and insight.
Jesse passed away May 14, 2022. A beautiful, kind and loving young man is now gone. He can never be replaced, he will never be forgotten, and the love we have for him will never be extinguished. Jesse, you will live forever in your Heavenly Father’s arms and forever in our hearts. Forever and For Always.
A memorial service for Jesse will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Dr. Dublin, OH 43017 where family will receive friends after the service from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
