Jane Roble, age 78, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Howard and Jane (nee Pulseski) Hubler. Jane grew up in Youngstown and graduated from Liberty High School, later earning both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Youngstown State.
Jane married her high school sweetheart, William, on June 28, 1969. They had a beautiful marriage of 54 wonderful years, during which they lovingly raised two daughters, Sharon and Laura. In their later years of retirement, Jane and William were able to live close to, and spend much time with, their daughters’ families. Jane dedicated her career to teaching children how to read. She was a caring, patient teacher and spent over 20 years in the profession.
Jane was happiest when in the company of her three grandchildren, who reciprocated her adoration. They would entertain her for hours, playing, drawing, dancing, and making her watch all of their activities— to which she happily obliged. Jane was so exceedingly proud of them and never missed an opportunity to tell everyone about their accomplishments, opportunities, or simply how amazing they were in her eyes.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, and brother, Howard Hubler. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (John Toth) Roble and Laura (John) Przytulski; grandchildren, Lauren, Jack, and Emma; brother, Dennis Hubler and sister, Rosemary (Richard) Weber and niece, Rebecca.
Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Dublin 5980 Perimeter Drive, where a visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed immediately by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Kingwood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jane’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or to Gentiva Hospice at 540 Officenter Place Suite 100 Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
