David loved playing tennis and could often be found out on the tennis courts forging lasting friendships with anyone wanting to play. He was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and all that comes with being a lifelong fan. He also loved music. David loved playing his standup bass and tinkering on the piano. Most recently he purchased a bass guitar and amplifier which was a testament to his ever-evolving love affair with music. He loved the timeless rhythms of jazz and the heartfelt melodies of country music, he had an appreciation for a diverse mix of genres.
David also loved to sit out on the deck in his backyard with a cigar in one hand and drink in the other while listening to music, watching TV and spending time with family and friends. He loved lighting the grill and cooking up some foods for everyone - with ribs being his speciality. And you can’t forget his strong island ice teas.
David’s vibrant spirit touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was loved by all and never met a stranger. He was jovial and always loved telling a good story or two. His laughter was contagious. Anyone who knew David knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
