Carolyn Palovchik

Carolyn Strait Palovchik, born August 11, 1942, joined her heavenly father for eternity on September 16,2022 after suffering from Alzheimer’s disease for many years. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Martha Strait. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Stephen Thomas Palovchik; children, Jennifer (Paul) McMullen and Gregory Allen (Megan); grandchildren Jeffrey (Olivia), Allison, & Miranda, sister Susan Strait Querns (Wesley) as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Carolyn graduated from Franklin Heights High School in Columbus with honors, and went on to graduate from The Ohio State University with a teaching degree in Home Economics and English as a member of the Mirrors Honor Society. Carolyn taught for many years throughout Ohio before leaving her profession to raise Jennifer and Greg.

Carolyn continued to bless all she encountered with with her love for life and adventure, sharing her love of animals and learning. In Carolyn’s travels around the world she made friends with all she met. Carolyn never knew a stranger.

Celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 25,2022 at Schoedinger Dublin,

5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. Visitation begins at 10am with a service at 12 pm.
