She attended and graduated from Franklin High School. As a youngster she was a member of the Hungarian scouts. She was a devout person of faith where she often supported St Ladislaus Church by playing the organ. She was also an organist in a folk band. After graduation Ann Marie received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Legal Studies from St. John's University. At her first job she worked as a Human Resources Coordinator for the Amerada Hess Corporation where she met and married her husband, Perry Oman.
Ann Marie and her husband, Perry, moved to Dublin, Ohio where they started their own company. She was the Office Manager and then Director of Marketing and Business Development for Muirfield Energy where her husband is the president. It was in Ohio where she welcomed their first child, a son Perry. Seven years later Abigail, their daughter was born. Ann Marie was a devoted wife and loving mother who took pleasure in caring for her family. She was active at Perry and Abigail’s school, supportive of their activities, helping and encouraging them in everything they did.
Ann Marie was and always will be a warrior--for life, family and friends! Ann Marie lived her life passionately. As an executive, Ann Marie worked side-by-side with her husband Perry in growing their thriving, multi-state energy consulting business. As a wife, her strong love and commitment to her husband Perry is undeniable. However, she most loved being the mother to her children, Perry and Abigail. She showered them with love and demonstrated, through herself as an example, hard work and strength. She was also so generous with her support for her friends. Even during her own difficulties, she always asked how her friends were doing. Her love for Paprika and Napoleon dessert (especially from Le Chatelaine) made everyone laugh and happy, especially Ann herself. She was kind and compassionate and was never one to shy away if she could help. She had a ready laugh, a sympathetic ear and a sharing heart. Ann Marie’s love, strength, wit, humor and generosity will forever remain in our memory. She will be missed deeply by those who knew her and whose lives she touched. She left us poorer, and too soon.
Ann Marie is survived by her husband, Perry Oman, a son, Perry Samuel and a daughter, Abigail Marie. She is also survived by her parents, Matthew and Gabriella Zastocki of Somerset, NJ, her brother, Michael Anthony and his wife Tania and their son Joseph of Monroe, NJ, and her in-laws, Paul and Donna Oman of Media, PA.
