Cheryl L Thomas

Born on March 7, 1959 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Francis Mooney and Helen(Shimmel) who survives. She was a graduate of DuBois Area High School and worked for Valley Dairy Restaurant.

Cheryl was a member of Clearfield Church of Nazarene. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, playing with her grandkids and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her loving husband, mother, three sons; Rev Robert Thomas of Clearfield, Jason Mooney of Louisville, KT and Steven Mooney of Tallahassee, FL.

Also survived by two brothers: Howard Mooney of Meadville, PA and Richard Mooney of Falls Creek, PA; two sisters: Barb Brownell of Dubois and Janet Simbeck of DuBois.

She is preceded in death by her father, two brothers: William and Mark Mooney and one sister Shirley Austin.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 14, 2011 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, DuBois, PA at 11:00AM with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating.

Friends will be received at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9PM. An additional viewing will be held on Monday morning at 10AM until the time of service. Burial will be at Rockton Cemetery.
