Janelle Renee Mata was born in Montebello, CA. From birth, Janelle was eager to come into the world, born one month pre-mature at 4lb 1oz. She was a spunky little girl from birth with only one week in the incubator. Doctors said she was ready to come home at only 3lb 15oz. When coming home it was fall but coming into the new home was 80 degrees as to keep the house nice and warm for this little girl who needed the warmth to grow into the Loveable and Caring woman she became. It was a blessing to have our Aunt Titi to help take care of Janelle and always rocking her to sleep but LOL for us Parents, we always had to rock her in the car seat as we did not have Titi’s arms, and now Titi will be taking care of our baby once again.
Janelle began school at Maple Ave. where she met her life time friends. After kindergarten, Janelle began her Catholic School education at St. Benedict Parish School in Montebello, continuing on her education at Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary High School graduating Class of 2011. In high school, Janelle was an Honor Roll student her Junior/Senior Year, always taking pride in her work. Since a little girl, Janelle always was full of life and always had that special spark of a Cheerleader in her spirit. She began Cheering at age 5yrs old rocking the crowd with her amazing smile. Her cheering began with West Covina Bruins, St. Benedict Cheer, Whittier Redskins and CSHM Cheer. After completing High School, she continued her love and passion as an Assistant Coach for Whittier Redskins and Bell Gardens High School.
In Janelle’s young adult years she started working at Smart & Final pushing carts and quickly working her way up to Assistant Manager. Janelle always continued to have a “Cheerleader” work ethic. She was full of life, amazing smile, always the Team Player; she extended help to everyone who needed help. Janelle always had a kind and caring heart. Janelle left Smart & Final to pursue other career options in Nursing Facilities. In her new career again, Janelle poured on the charm and her fellow co-workers loved her energy and loving spirit.
Janelle’s legacy will continue to live on through her daughter Jadison. The smile we see in Jadison is the same Amazing Smile she gets from her Mommy, the Smile that could just captivate a room. Janelle was always a go-getter, each time going to pursue better opportunities she constantly had that “Rockstar” attitude; she always said, “I GOT THIS, I CHARMED THEM WITH MY SMILE AND PERSONALITY.” Lastly Janelle always told Jadison, which was her Pride and Joy, her Best Friend as she called her…. Remember “TO INFINITY AND BEYOND.” ♥
Janelle is survived by her Daughter Jadison Petra Mata, Mother Darlene Rose Mata, Father Sal Rene Mata, her two Sisters Michelle Rose Mata and Danielle Robin Mata and her Fur Baby Pancakes. She will always continue to live in our hearts and be “OUR ROCKSTAR.”
TILL WE MEET AGAIN ♥
