Mr. William S. Owens, age 70, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was born on October 2, 1948 in Cheverly, Maryland. He was a die-hard Atlanta Braves and Washington Redskins fan. He loved playing cards and being entertained by his three grandchildren.
Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Mary Owens.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne (AnnaMae) Owens; son, Justin (Andrea) Owens; grandchildren, Ellie, Nora and Jack Owens; brothers, Hugh D. Owens, George A. Owens and wife, Donna; sister, Janice Rennie and husband, Tres; many nieces and nephews as well as other family members.
The funeral service will be Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 12:30 PM at the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in Brentwood, Maryland. Interment will follow at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery. There will be a catered reception to follow at 2:30 PM.
