Mr. William ‘Bill’ Hubert Wyman, age 94, of Douglasville, GA passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014. He was born November 27, 1919 in Daytona Beach, FL. Bill was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving his country during WWII. During his time in the Navy he served as a Chief Pharmacist Mate. He retired from the United States Postal Service; then founded and operated Complete Mailing Services in Douglasville. He was a member of the VFW and the Elks Club. He was very active in the WPO – Widowed Persons Organization, having served as Past-President. He was also a member of the Woodie Fite Senior Center where he participated regularly and loved to dance.
Mr. Wyman was preceded in death by his wife, Lee Wyman; a son, Bill Wyman, Jr.; his parents, Charles and Leila Potts Wyman; and three brothers.
He is survived by daughters, Patricia ‘Trish’ Boylen and Cindy Lohr; son, Jeff Wyman and wife Kim; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Fred Gilkeson and Pastor Scott Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
