Wanda Yvonne Smith

Miss. Wanda Yvonne Smith, age 70, of Marietta, Georgia, previously of Douglasville, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021.The daughter of the late Paul Smith and Pauline Iannarelli, she was born on June 21, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia. A true native of Georgia, Wanda loved watching the Braves and the Falcons play. Wanda had the spirit of a child and enjoyed coloring, watching Disney movies, and puzzles. There was an innocence about her and when she loved you, she loved you with all her heart, unconditionally. She loved to bowl and especially loved to eat. She often said, “I’ll eat anything that won’t eat me first!” Wanda won many gold medals through her participations with the Douglas County Special Olympics.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was also preceded in death by her brother, Mike Iannarelli.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Joe (Lynn) Iannarelli, Kelly (Ellen) Iannarelli, Mark Iannarelli, and Walt Iannarelli; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loved ones, family, and friends.

The family will have a private viewing before laying Wanda to rest beside her beloved Mama at Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglasville, Georgia on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 3:30 pm.
