Mr. Thomas John Deitz age 83 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019. Mr. Deitz was born in Long Island, NY to Thomas Henry Deitz and Dorothy May Mulholland. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 o’clock pm Sunday at Whitley Garner at Rose Haven Funeral Home Chapel, December 8th 2019.
Mr. Deitz was a carpenter most of his life, working for the Carpenters Union 42. He was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 338 Fairfield Plantation. He loved boating, camping, fishing and golfing. He was very proud of his boys Paul and John. He was preceded in death by his sisters Rita and Dorothy.
He is survived by spouse Peggy W. Deitz of Villa Rica, GA.
2 sons – Paul Deitz of Snellville, GA; John Deitz of Lakeworth, FL; Stepson Donnie Hines of FL.
2 stepdaughters – Amy Harris of Villa Rica, GA; Elizabeth Tiffin of Winder, GA.
