Sheila Belle (Robbins) Anderson

Mrs. Sheila Belle Robbins Anderson, age 65, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was born on August 14, 1956 in Columbus, Georgia. Sheila enjoyed the simplicity of life – spending lots of time outside, gardening, and tending to her yard. Her garden hosted both flowers and produce, but she had a blueberry patch, in particular, that she and the family enjoyed harvesting every summer. With her creative mind, she spent countless hours doing any number of crafts and spent many weekends looking for yard sales to find her next treasure.

Sheila was a compassionate and generous woman. She loved being able to provide food to local food banks and gathering school supplies for families or friends in need. Animals also held a special place in her heart. She always had a dog and enjoyed going to her daughter’s house to help tend to the chickens and ducks.

She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Nettie Belle “Bill” and Charles Harper; brother, Dale Robbins; nephew, Joe Dill; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Shirley Anderson; brother-in-law, Scott Anderson; her beloved canine companions, Puppy and Maddie; and granddog, Gabby.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert E. Anderson; her daughter, Sarah Anderson; sisters, Maudean Dill and Gail Marchant; sister-in-law, Laurie (Joey) Roberts; nieces and nephews, Jody (Laura) Adams, Stormy (Chris) Bowie, Matt Dill, Emily (Deon) Holsey, Jeffrey (Lacy) Anderson, Steven Roberts, and Michael (Kaci) Roberts; granddog, Sadie; and numerous other loved ones, family, and friends.
