Sabrina Leigh (Benson) Ross

Sabrina Leigh Benson Ross, age 49, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020. She was born June 17, 1971 in Savannah, Georgia. She was a graduate of Paulding County High School and alumni of Kennesaw State University. She was a beautiful soul who was very family oriented, loved children, loved nature, going to the park and enjoyed cooking for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and was highly creative with crafts. Sabrina had many friends and loved dining out. A kind and loving person with a heart of gold, she would lend an ear, comfort others and was a shoulder to cry on to anyone who needed to cry. She was a CNA with Assured & Associates for many years, helping many in life and after.

Sabrina was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Benson; brother, Chad Benson; and sister, Jill Benson.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Christopher “Chris” Ross; daughter, Taylor Vaughn (Josh Vaughn); son, Travis Spencer Kirk; mother, Janis Benson Moyer; brother, Brad Benson (Tammy Benson); sisters-in-law, Jamie Harrison, Kimberly “Kim” Reed (Chris Reed) and Nicole Bell; brother in law, Riley Harrison; grandchildren, Raleigh, Isaac and James; mother in law and father in law, Beverly and Marcus Bell; extended family, Kevin Scott Kirk and Karen Kirk; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Private Services will be held to celebrate the life of Sabrina Leigh Benson Ross.
