Rita Lopez

Mrs. Lopez was born in La Paz, Baja California on October 2, 1927 the daughter of the late Jose Hidalgo and Elena Zumaya Hidalgo. She worked in hospitality services for a number of years, however her first love centered completely around her family. Mrs. Lopez loved taking care of her family and her home. There was always something delicious cooking on the stove with lots of love and her family looked forward to spending quality time with her, enjoying good food. Rita was a devoted wife, mom, grand mother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Victor and Mary Tere Zenteno, Ernesto and Ines Catalina Ceteno, Hector and Connie Ceteno; daughter and son-in-law, Maria Elena and Victor Hugo De-La-Pena; sister, Lupita Hidalgo, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Manuel Lopez, she is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Elena Hidalgo and seven brothers.
