Rene Williams

Mrs. Charre Rene Williams, age 71, of Cragford, Alabama, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 29, 1949. A family oriented person, Mrs. Williams loved to spend time with her family. She was active in her family’s lives, especially her grandson, AJ and granddaughter, Emily. She is described as a loving woman who wore her heart on her sleeve. In her spare time, Mrs. Williams enjoyed gardening and growing any and all kinds of flowers. She also loved jewelry. She was big on celebrating all of the holidays, where her passion was displayed in grand scale decorations.

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her mother, Atha Drake; her husband, Samuel Williams, Sr.; the father of her daughter, Victoria, Gordon Little; and her grandson, Blaton Harper.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles S. Williams, Jr., Victoria (Walt) Craft, and Trista (Wesley) Belcher; step-children, Alisha Nations, Andy (Monique) Little, and Michael (Amy) Little and their respective families; a sister, Nadine Drake (Rick); brothers, Colin Drake, Jeffrey Drake, Michael Drake, and John Drake; grandchildren, AJ Craft, Emily Craft, Connor Craft, Logan Scott, Blake Belcher, Christian Belcher, and their respective families; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Ema Rae; and numerous other loved ones, family, and friends.

The family will be having a graveside service on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at Rosehaven Memorial Park with Timothy Craft officiating.
