Mrs. Rebecca T. Camp, age 80, of Douglasville, Ga, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. She was born on September 20, 1939 in Douglasville, Ga. She was an avid flower gardener who could grow the most beautiful roses. She loved all animals, but especially loved dogs. She was also the greatest cook there ever was. She loved to travel and be with her family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Douglasville. Furthermore, she was a faithful member of the Lively Sunday School Class. Mrs. Camp was a former member of the Ama-Kanasta Garden Club. In her earlier years, she was an enthusiastic bridge player.
Mrs. Camp was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances “Toots” Thompson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles Camp; her sons, Robert B. Camp (Julie) and Scott K. Camp (Susan); her sister, Frances (Eddie) Pritchard; her grandchildren, Michael Camp, Matthew Camp, Ray Norton, and Amanda Turner; and numerous other loved ones, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Brett DeHart officiating. Honorary Pallbearers include the Lively Sunday School Class.
