Mike was born in Austell, Georgia on March 10, 1947, the son of the late Herman Collie Webb and Tommie Ruth Reid Webb. He was a carpenter by trade and loved owning and operating his construction business. Mike was so good with his hands, he could build anything imaginable. He was a great outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Mike was an honorable man that held a status in his community. He had a great love for people, liked to have a good time and cut up with anyone around. He was known to have a few cute sayings when getting ready to go someplace: “You’re not going to a beauty contest” and “load ‘em up!” You always knew where you stood with him and all that knew him had great respect and sure didn’t mess with his wife or kids!
He is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Janice Ann Phillips, daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Jeff Orr, Monica and Chip Street, grandchildren, Phillip Orr (Kaitlyn), Jacob Street (Kara), Randy Orr, Danny Street, Clayton Street, Kurtis Street, Emily Grogan, Abby Grogan and great grandchildren, Quinn Street, Olive Street and Theodore Orr.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Glenn Webb, Jr., daughter, Kimberly Ann Grogan, brothers, Wally Webb, Steve Webb, Gregory Webb.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.
