Michael Wayne Rochester, age 65, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024. He was born May 17, 1958 in Petaluma, California. He was a mechanical genius, starting work at the age of 16 and was dedicated to his career. Michael was a sharply dressed man. He had a green thumb and also enjoyed music, loving the Rock and Roll genre. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, and also enjoyed camping and fishing with his children.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Roy K. and Mary Ruth (McEntyre) Rochester; and the mother of his children, Sandra Rochester.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Travis Rochester; daughter, Kayelyn Rochester; brothers, Rodney Rochester, Ricky Rochester (Nancy) and Samuel Rochester; sisters, Debbie Rochester and Cindy Rochester; as well as numerous other family members and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February, 23, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel.
