Mrs. Marvelene Traylor Morris, age 69, of Douglasville, GA passed away Friday, November 21, 2014. She was born February 5, 1945 in Woodland, AL. Mrs. Morris moved to Douglasville in 1961 from Woodland, Alabama. She was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Trophy Hunting Club.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie ‘Jim’ Morris; her parents, Albert and Willie Ogle Traylor; brother, Grady Traylor; and sisters, Lois Gilley, Marcie Melton and Janice Young.
She is survived by brothers, Quinton Traylor of Newell, AL, Carson Traylor of Newell, AL and Frank Traylor of Carrollton, GA; sisters, Julie Bell of Woodland, AL and Carolyn Davis of Carrollton, GA; nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
