Margaret Elizabeth (Edwards) Dutton

Mrs. Margaret E. Dutton, age 76, of Winston, Georgia, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020. She was born July 25, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia. A people person, Margaret was extremely outgoing and loved to talk to everybody. Margaret loved all her family dearly. She used to play the jukebox, her favorites were classic country and rock ‘n roll, and the family would dance together and enjoy the music. She loved dogs, especially her Little D. In her spare time she enjoyed feeding hummingbirds and sitting on the back porch watching them. Margaret was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, J.B. and Mildred Elizabeth (Daniel) Edwards; son, Mark Glass; and grandson, Daryl Upton.

Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Edgar G. Dutton; daughter, Robin Grant; step-daughters, Renee (Jack) Morris and Pam (Carl) Hemperley; step-son, Matt (Renee) Dutton; brothers, Joel (Janelle) Edwards and Eugene “Buster” (Barbara) Edwards; sisters, Juanita (Harry) Monroe and Sandra (George) Bartlett; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 25, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Rosehaven Memorial Park with graveside services following at 11:00 AM. Dr. Billy Godwin of Ephesus Baptist Church will be officiating.
